Murtech has provided program management and rapid prototype engineering support to HSARPA, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEOCBD), EPA, and the DARPA mobile decontamination trailer (MDT) program. Murtech has also provided modeling and engineering support services to CDI Marine for the development of a mobile environmental sampling trailer……

Completed Contracts (to name a few)

1. Murtech was awarded one of the small business Force Protection Omnibus contracts that was competed to support the Joint Program Manager Guardian for United States bases and installation support across the globe. This contract has two major areas of expertise, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) and Integrated Base Defense.

2. Murtech as a Sub to FLIR on the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Defense (JPEOCBD), Joint Program Manager – Contamination Avoidance (JPM-CA) Joint Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance System (JNBCRS2) team, is the System Engineering arm of the team that received the award for the JNBCRS2 program of record work. The design effort has interaction with all services and incorporates CBRNE equipment as well as Level A, Class II and Class III entry ensembles into an integrated system package that can be utilized across a diverse platform arrangement.

3. Murtech completed work on the Joint Biological Tactical Detection System (JBTDS) ground zero

organizational and integration of components in June 2008. This major effort was to provide technical

evaluation and improvement of selected components and training support.

4. Murtech completed the lead integrator for the JPEO-CBD Military Mail Screening Alternative of Approach effort to provide a Congressional Mandated plan to provide safe mail to US Service Members, Defense Contractors and their families across the Globe. This tasking served to ensure current operational flow of mail is not delayed. The initial approach given to Congress was evaluated to be extremely high in cost and significant in library development, high potential for false positives with the techniques. Murtech was tasked to look at an orthogonal approach of using various techniques to approach a decision point using trace analysis techniques. This effort was required to be passive and non-intrusive in the screening efforts. Until probable cause is established, the packages cannot be aggressively evaluated.

5. Murtech recently completed the lead system integration contract for a net centric chemical and biological sensor integration effort that is to demonstrate the capability of networking approved sensors today and migrating this design into the future sensor applications for the future combat systems program. This effort has begun as a limited objective experiment under the JPEO-CBD. The effort will enable the sensors to communicate their findings through the JWARN network in the NBC message format. The approach enables the US Government to provide the necessary interface control documentation to the commercial vendors so they know the target for integration and they can concentration the technical performance of their sensors and meeting the form and fit

required by the USG. The success of the effort has been incorporated into Army Acquisition Program.

6. Murtech has provided program management and rapid prototype engineering support to HSARPA, JPEO-CBD, EPA, and the DARPA mobile decontamination trailer (MDT) program. In addition, Murtech has provided modeling and engineering support services to CDI Marine for the development of a mobile environmental sampling trailer. The Company also performs analyses and special studies in environmental, marine, and filter technologies to other customers. Murtech currently provides Dry Filter Units, consumables, along with environmental sampling and specialty application design.
